Hello! I’m Dr. Alexa Fagan. I was born and raised here in the Tampa Bay area and spent most of my life in the North Tampa region. At 16, I began working for a Chiropractor and learning firsthand the science, philosophy and art of Chiropractic. I attended Gaither High School, Hillsborough Community College, and the University of South Florida where I received a B.A. in Gerontology. I worked with my mentor for 8 years before moving to Marietta, GA to begin my studies at Life University in the College of Chiropractic.
Chiropractic has changed my life in a number of ways. As a child I was chronically ill, on one round of antibiotics after another. By the time I was 16, I had become so ill that there were no longer any medications that would work to fight the infections due to the chronic overuse of antibiotics as a child. I had to be hospitalized as I had developed septicemia and was quickly placed on a round of powerful IV antibiotics. Once the infection had decreased, my tonsils were removed and I was sent home. I then began working in a Chiropractic office receiving regular Chiropractic care. Over time, the illnesses occurred less frequently and were shorter in duration. It took time, but within 1 year, I was healthier, stronger and I feeling great! The chronic throat and sinus infections, colds and viruses were a thing of the past! I have not taken any antibiotics in about 19 years! I truly believe Chiropractic saved my life.
In the years I worked with my mentor and saw the many amazing benefits of Chiropractic from a family wellness perspective, I KNEW this was what I had to be a part of for the rest of my life. After 8 years of learning so much from one of the best, I moved to Atlanta to pursue my own dream of becoming a chiropractor.
In early 2004, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Life University…I was 5 months pregnant. In May, our first son Maddox was born and we quickly moved back to Tampa, my home and began pursuing our dream of opening a family wellness practice. In 2007, we opened Totally Chiropractic, Inc. We worked hard to create a family wellness atmosphere, a place families would be comfortable in and enjoy; a place of wellness and healing in a fun, relaxed environment.
I believe we achieved our goal of creating the wellness family practice and have since enjoyed helping many families in our community reach their health goals. I am truly blessed to be able to work with a woman throughout her pregnancy, support her in her birth choices, and assist her in labor. And an even greater blessing…that she would trust me with her most precious possession. When a new mother hands me her newborn child for his/her first adjustment, I am overjoyed…my dream is realized.
I am Webster Technique certified and have received extensive education and training in pediatrics and pregnancy. I am currently working on certifying in and receiving my Diplomate in Pediatrics.
Hi! I’m Dr. Kris. I was born and raised in Miami, FL. At age 15, I began seeing a chiropractor with my family and soon after, began working in his practice. After working with him for a short time, he felt that I should pursue a career in Chiropractic. He mentored me for 7 years, and in 1999 I moved to Marietta, GA to begin Chiropractic college at Life University.
Chiropractic just makes sense to me. I believe in the innate healing power of the body…I know it all too well. When I was 7 years old, I was helping my father change the oil of a car at our home. The car was sitting up on ramps and my father was underneath it working. As I headed for the door to our home to get my dad a glass of water, the door of the car swung open and hit me in the chest. I was knocked off balance as the car began to roll off the ramps. As the car backed up, the car door pinned my right arm against a cement foundation column, severing it almost completely at a point above my elbow. The bone of my upper arm was broken, muscle, nerves, blood vessels severed…my arm was attached only by a small muscle in the back of my arm. Though I lost a lot of blood, we made it to the hospital in time. I was rushed to surgery where the bone of my arm was pinned and the tissues of the arm reattached. 144 stitches, a hospital stay of 44 days, in a cast for 89 days and my arm was fully healed. Though additional surgeries were expected to reattach nerves and remove scar tissue…neither were performed. I had regained full use, function and feeling of my arm all on my own! The power that made the body heals the body.
I met my lovely wife while we were completing our senior year of Chiropractic College. After many trips to her home town and meeting her family, we decided to move to Tampa to raise our family and open our practice. We now have two beautiful boys and have dedicated our lives and our practice to ensuring the families of our community receive quality Chiropractic care.
Hello, I’m Maddox. I was born in Marietta, GA in a rather difficult hospital birth. My Daddy gave me my very first adjustment right in the delivery room soon after my birth. I have been receiving regular Chiropractic care ever since! I love spending time at our office playing with all of the other children that come in to see us. Often, you’ll find me playing some of my favorite learning games on the computer at our office. I like playing soccer, building with Legos, and I LOVE trains! I recently welcomed my new baby brother in to our family…I love him SO MUCH!
Hi, I’m Phoenix. I was born here in Tampa in a beautiful, peaceful, natural birth at Labor of Love birth center. My Daddy gave me my very first adjustment just minutes after I was born. I have also been receiving regular Chiropractic care ever since. I have a very special, loving big brother who looks after me and plays with me. I recently started crawling, so when you visit our office, you may find me exploring something somewhere. I like chewing on my toys and practicing standing by pulling up on the adjusting tables at our office.
